URI Acceptence Package
Using college design standards to create a student acceptance package.
Objective: To design an acceptance letter, college merchandise, informational papers, and a package to hold it all. The designs must follow the University of Rhode Island standards.
I found this college project much easier than others that I had done in the past. For me, following design standards makes designing something easier. I used the 31-page URI Brand Visual Standards Guide for all my styles. I learned a lot of useful skills from following the guide like desaturating and screening an image in the background of the headers. I went to URI and photographed many pictures of the campus to use for the headers. For the calendar, I photographed areas in southern Rhode Island near URI.
